Prior to September 11, 2001, the need for Explosive Trace Systems (ETS) and Explosive Detection Systems (EDS) in the United States was limited, therefore allowing explosives to be carried onto airplanes, trains, and into post offices. With this in mind, ImmageTech has complemented our technical service portfolio with security equipment installation and repair. The primary technical service offering will be for baggage screening using a combination of technologies; EDS’s and ETD’s. ETD’s work by collecting samples and detecting vapors and residues of explosives. Swabs are dropped into chemical analyzers that separate and identify any threat explosives present in less than ten seconds. EDS’s apply radiation to take measurements of materials in bags to automatically recognize the signatures of threat explosives. Additionally, we have been trained in the service repair of walk-thru metal detectors and other detection devices. Our nationwide technical coverage allows for expedient service at remote locations. Our technicians have been manufacturer trained on all of the latest equipment types. Whether our customers are located in court houses, airports, schools, border patrol areas, or postal centers, we are able to perform these services efficiently. Given that ImmageTech is independent of equipment manufacturers, multiple service calls are unnecessary when multiple equipment types/manufacturers are located at each site. Additionally, ImmageTech is a service organization, therefore manufacturing overhead is not required nor is reflected in our rate schedule. This allows us to offer discounted rates from the purchasing manufacturer when servicing direct market customers. |
